Same day crowns are a dental restoration device that enables a dentist to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using computer-assisted technologies, consisting of 3-D photography and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing).

Same day crowns enables dentists the versatility to restore teeth in a single sitting with a client, instead of the several appointments needed with other methods!

Same day crowns have been proven by numerous clinical studies and is offered by thousands of dentists to countless patients around the world each year!

Same day crowns not only saves you money and time, it can also conserve your teeth!

Dental X-rays are not able to penetrate metal crowns, making any decay undetectable up until it was far too late.

Same day crowns use a strong porcelain that x-rays can penetrate. This indicates any degeneration underneath the restoration can be discovered and treated before it ends up being a big problem.

Since same day crown innovation use a milling device to mill the ceramic into your customized restoration, the porcelain is stronger than those produced by hand. And, the computer-assisted technology can create an practically similar restoration of the previous tooth.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are a number of methods to lighten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth whitening system that will bleach teeth dramatically. Since tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of techniques: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take multiple months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very quick and practical whitening process. The visit is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays must be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
