Why Are They Called Same Day Crowns?

This cutting edge innovation allows your dental practitioner to take accurate images of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and put a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single visit. Same day crowns offer unparalleled convenience, value, and precision to our clients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure consists of three fundamental steps. 1st, your dentist uses 3D imaging to take extremely accurate images of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Second, they then download these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, creates your custom-fitted crown. 3rd, your dental practitioner will send the design to their in-office precision milling machine which develops the crown out of a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for added strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will position it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Benefits Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to produce our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations provide incomparable strength, resilience, chip and stain resistance, and natural appeal.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth prep work and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns need two office appointments. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for an appointment and leave with a beautifully restored tooth.

You can prevent the trouble and possible threats related to ill-fitting temporary crowns.

We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. Today's Conversation Will Be About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Spotting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send out and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
