If you have a fractured or damaged tooth, are experiencing discomfort when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperatures, or want to remove unattractive metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a good choice for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface of the affected tooth, adding resilience and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we provide on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the procedure. They allow patients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their permanent dental crown in place that same day. This gets rid of the need to have a short-term crown placed and then another visit set up for the placement of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new innovation that scans the mouth to obtain the appropriate measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are very strong and durable and constructed out of the highest quality porcelain available. In many cases, a gold crown might be recommended for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the expense may vary between the two and you might wish to discuss your budget as well with the your dentist. Your dentist will discuss with you the types of crowns available and give you a recommendation based upon your particular scenario.

Call us to arrange a complimentary cosmetic consultation. We look forward to talking to you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a broad scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable methods rather than through a more pricey dental procedure.

Here Is How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the alignment of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a glossy finish as a last step.
