Why get a single visit crown instead of a conventional one?

Less time in the dental chair (Just one appointment that lasts 2 hours) half the number of visits, fewer anesthetics, less tooth structure is lost in most cases, we can make most of the prep work for these crowns without removing too much of your natural tooth.

As soon as the design process begins, you are free to move about the office or perhaps have additional dentistry such as fillings. There is about a 20 minute time frame in the middle of the appointment where the crown unit is being produced.

Same day crowns are green (eco-friendly) and are efficient and saves you money. (Fewer products used, & less visits mean fewer miles driven in your {car|vehicle).

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are primarily utilized to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
