SAME DAY DENTAL CROWNS

Updated On Wednesday, November 14, 2018 03:10:59 PM

Thanks to ingenious modern day technologies, we are proud to introduce the capability to supply you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in simply one appointment! Here's how it works.

Step 1, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a little camera, a unique camera established just for this function.

Second, the new software assesses the whole image and uses the results to compute a number of outstanding restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are examined and improved by the doctor and the final restoration plan is picked.

Step three your new crown is milled by the cerec machine right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown procedure, call our office and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

The Discussion For Today Is:

Ultra-Sonic Teeth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for many adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, killing microorganisms and removing plaque and tartar in the process. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help keep optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can remove tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling frequently uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly noticeable. This makes ultrasonic cleaning appropriate to those with delicate teeth.

  • The cleaning process is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfortable.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and then polished.
