Why You Should Select Same Day Crowns?

There are lots of advantages of using same day crown over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, eliminating substantial potential discomfort.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, appeal, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the traditional approach of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay stunning for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Because these fillings are constructed out of porcelain, they are more resilient than white composite fillings.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.

Finding problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to find:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
