Single Visit Crowns Near You

Needing any kind of dental work completed can feel like a chore, however it is essential to follow up on when it pertains to preserving your oral health. Some individuals may postpone going to their dental practitioner or having particular dental procedures finished merely because they think that the experience may use up too much of their time. When it comes to same day dental crowns that is simply not the case, as we can provide our clients with same day dental crowns should they require it.

Although dental crowns are considered in addition to other procedures that fall under the cosmetic dentistry classification, they can help to vastly improve anybody's oral health. Dental crowns are mainly used to restore the size, shape, and function of a tooth. Most frequently, dental crowns are used following a root canal therapy treatment wherein a part of the tooth mass is removed in order to get rid of decayed portions of the tooth. A dental crown is then used to help restore exactly what parts of the tooth were lost so that it can function as it once did, restoring the oral well being of the client.

Often, dental crowns take some time to process and are crafted in a laboratory while the patient uses a short-term crown in its stead. Now we can provide clients with same day dental crowns! Instead of needing to visit us multiple times prior to restoring your tooth, we can provide you with a crown the very same day that you come in to get one fitted.

If you need a dental crown, you will not need to wait and arrange multiple visits. Our staff and dentists will provide you with all of the services that you need in a single visit to work around your busy schedule. Do not let your dental health go forgotten due to the fact that you don't have the time. If you want to find out more about same day dental crowns, call us and arrange an appointment today.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of a lot of clients, there are multiple methods to lighten teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth bleaching system that will lighten teeth significantly. Because tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize a number of techniques: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of daily use. 3 different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the greater the probability of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is recommended for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take numerous months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and convenient bleaching procedure. The visit is approximately one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment because it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
