Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this new innovation it permits dentists to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can make natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers here in our office while you relax. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous trips to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with temporary restorations - you can enjoy a brilliant, natural looking, and resilient option for your missing or broken teeth today.

Initially, your dentist will consult with you to discuss the information of the procedure. During the procedure, the dental practitioner will apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique camera to take a picture of your tooth.

Using the new software, the picture acts as a map to create your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to produce your restoration piece out of ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using cutting edge adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Discovering problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
