When you do not have enough hours in the day our new same day crown technology allows for single appointment restorations. Fillings, crowns or veneers - with same day crowns, there's no need for a short-term and return appointments. The whole procedure is performed in one appointment - leaving more time for whatever's important to you.

Technology today is changing our daily lives. Many people, however, aren't aware that innovation also is impacting dentistry in brand-new and interesting methods. Cutting-edge developments in dental instruments are requiring less time in the dental chair, causing less pain and producing satisfying results. One development in innovation, enables dental practitioners to quickly restore damaged teeth with natural-colored ceramic fillings, conserving patients time and inconvenience.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Ultrasonic Cleanings

We use ultrasonic scalers for a lot of adult dental cleanings. These devices use ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and periodontal disease. The ultrasonic cleaners produce tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microbes and getting rid of plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the gum pockets to help keep optimal gingival health.

  • The procedure only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can eliminate tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, without any damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling typically uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly perceptible. This makes ultrasonic cleaning appropriate to those with sensitive teeth.

  • The cleaning process is faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have actually been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to look for any residual deposits and then polished.
