If you have a missing tooth or teeth, you know the humiliation and pain this can cause. You have most likely been examining methods you can restore your smile and great bite. We believe you will be extremely interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to receive same day crowns! It is a comfy one-day treatment!

Our whole dental practice is cutting edge, except for our patient care and concern which is traditional. We understand the discomfort missing teeth can cause patients, and for that reason we are very pleased to be able to provide clients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its original function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the surrounding teeth, so they can not be detected by others as being anything less than a permanent tooth. With a dental crown, you have the ability to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never ever be interrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it is there in your mouth.

Same day crowns are an extremely interesting offering of our practice. We are able to supply you with a lovely new smile in simply one day. Our office has state-of-the-art equipment that enables dentists to provide you with crowns in simply a little fraction of the time that was needed previously.

CAD/CAM technology is exactly what makes this amazing development possible. The acronym stands for computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this innovation in our system. This system is used to restore teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an extra appointment to our practice, a week or so later. We're sure you have far more exciting things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dentist's chair any longer than you have to!

Using our new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, then send the info to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the specific specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we put it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your brand-new tooth to a beautiful and natural-looking radiance. This innovation can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you need a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or business event, this process might indeed be perfect for you. If you have an interest in finding out more about this procedure, call us today for a consultation.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to fabricate your crown.

Today's Topic Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to harden, and polish it. It can be used in certain circumstances where a tooth has actually been broken or ended up being stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable methods instead of through a more costly dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the positioning of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
