Same Day Crowns innovation has actually changed how dental treatments will be done from now on. If crowns, onlays, inlays or dental veneers were required to fix damaged teeth, it used to indicate multiple visits, a lot of hassle, and typically a great deal of money.

This new technology makes these ceramic restorations within minutes in the dental office. It is made of several computer-assisted design (CAD) tools and a milling device that creates custom-made ceramic restorative devices. It also can make virtually any ceramic restoration to order, suggesting the dental practitioner can place it immediately. Today's Discussion Will Be About:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a treatment where we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has been broken or become stained. These are generally small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive ways rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is applied so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
