ONE DAY DENTAL CROWNS

Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns suggested coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of two times. The first visit involved getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a few weeks later, a 2nd check-up permitted the temporary crown to be eliminated and a brand-new long-term crown to be put on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work easier for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to develop ceramic onlays and crowns that fit just right, in simply one visit with a small camera to create a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This means a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We produce a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This innovation can create the brand-new restoration in as little as 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding product, and the new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for more information about same day crowns technology, and take care of those issues you may have been putting off.

The Discussion Of The Day Is:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are normally minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly affordable methods instead of through a more pricey dental treatment.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close spaces between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is placed on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
