What Are Single Visit Dental Crowns?

The single visit crown is a innovation for fixing damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single appointment to the dentist's office. It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful, all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free, and the state-of-the-art ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

The Single Visit Crown Process

Throughout your appointment, you and your dental practitioner will go over the information of the procedure and your dentist will address any concerns you may have. Your dentist will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special 3D imaging camera to take a image of your tooth. Using the brand-new software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's proper form and function.

Then, the mill will use diamond burs to create your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a broad scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Discussion Has To Do With:

Ultra-Sonic Tooth Cleaning

We use ultrasonic scalers for the majority of adult dental cleanings. These devices utilize ultrasonic vibrations to help breakdown the plaque and calculus on the teeth that cause gingivitis and gum disease. The ultrasonic cleaners create tiny bubbles that implode on the surface of the tooth, eliminating microbes and getting rid of plaque and tartar at the same time. Our instruments use a thin tip to better navigate in the periodontal pockets to help keep optimal gingival health.

  • The treatment only uses water, no chemicals are used.

  • It can eliminate tartar buildup in hard-to-reach areas, with no damage to the tooth enamel.

  • Manual scaling often uses pressure for cleaning, while the vibration produced by the scaling tip of an ultrasonic scaler is hardly perceptible. This makes ultrasonic cleaning suitable to those with delicate teeth.

  • The cleaning procedure is much faster than manual scaling making your visit more comfy.

After your teeth have been cleaned with the ultrasonic cleaner, your teeth will be hand scaled to check for any residual deposits and then polished.
