CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Identifying issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are primarily used to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
