Why Are These Crowns Called Same Day Crowns?

This cutting edge technology permits your dentist to take accurate pictures of your tooth and use those images to design, manufacture, and put a porcelain or zirconia crown in a single appointment. Same day crowns provide unparalleled convenience, value, and accuracy to our patients.

How Does The Same Day Crown Technology Work?

The same day crown procedure includes three fundamental steps. 1st, your dentist uses 3D imaging to take highly accurate photos of your tooth and the surrounding structures. Next, he downloads these images into a computer and, using computer-assisted design software, develops your custom-fitted crown. Third, your dentist will send the design to their in-office precision milling machine which creates the crown from a block of dental porcelain or zirconia. Once they stain and glaze the crown for additional strength and esthetics, your dental practitioner will put it on your tooth.

Exactly What Are The Advantages Of Same Day Crowns?

We only use dental porcelain and zirconia to develop our same day crowns. These metal-free restorations offer incomparable strength, durability, chip and stain resistance, and natural beauty.

Precision-fitted same day crowns need less tooth prep work and preserve more of your tooth structure.

Traditional crowns require 2 office visits. With same day crowns, you can come to our dentist's office for a visit and leave with a magnificently fixed tooth.

You can avoid the trouble and potential threats related to uncomfortable short-term crowns.

The Discussion For Today Will Be:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of a lot of clients, there are a number of ways to bleach teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth dramatically. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple techniques: custom made tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into customized vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three various strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really quick and convenient whitening procedure. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment since it is so easy and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays need to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
