Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a broad scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Finding problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to detect:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has significantly improved the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available quickly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
