Why Opt For Single Visit Dental Crowns?

There are many benefits of using same day crown over traditional crown innovation.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, saving you considerable time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, eliminating significant possible discomfort.

  • Visual appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional approach of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain gorgeous for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown product and innovation can also be used for fillings. Since these fillings are constructed out of porcelain, they are longer lasting than white composite fillings.

Today Were Discussing:

Temporal Mandibular Joint

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Issues in this joint might be triggered by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle stress. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and five muscles are involved in the area. If something goes wrong a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can cause:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Trouble or soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, sometimes extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can consist of replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces between teeth, and so on. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. Often a plastic mouthpiece is utilized to prevent clenching or grinding that is contributing to the issue. If neglected and taken to extremes, surgery may be needed to fix a severely damaged joint.
