Get A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns address visual needs, fix tooth function, and boost the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can protect and preserve the remaining natural tooth.

To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is usually placed over the remaining tooth structure to preserve aesthetic and tooth function.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is examined and a decision is made regarding which teeth will need to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then extracted. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and appearance return and one simply continues as usual. Commonly implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is necessary to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a significant lifestyle change when as compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the type of food you are able to eat, your self-confidence in social situations, and even your self-confidence.

A Couple Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the exact same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper full denture will usually feel much better than a lower full denture. In order to significantly improve the fit of a lower complete denture, we frequently recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has been in use for numerous years.
