One Visit Crowns

Crowns have long been an reliable restorative dentistry option for dentists to take advantage of, but the traditional crown process takes a couple of visits to complete.

At our practice, though, our dental practitioners and our team can restore broken down teeth in just a single appointment with same-day crowns. Same day crowns use innovative technology to make the crown planning process easier, while the same day crown machine actually mills restorations itself using the information we've already collected to develop the custom-made restoration you require.

The milling procedure takes about an hour to finish and can be done while you rest conveniently in our office.

Our restorative dentistry team is ready to rejuvenate your smile and better your quality of life. Using any of these restorative dentistry services alone or in combination with each other or another service, we are ready to help you to achieve maximum dental health. Please make an appointment to our office today.

Today's Topic Is About:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of the majority of clients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular method is using a home tooth lightening system that will whiten teeth considerably. Since tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple methods: custom made tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office whitening.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory makes into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 various strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is suggested for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and hassle-free bleaching process. The visit is roughly one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays should be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
