Same day crowns are a dental restoration innovation that allows a dental practitioner to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using computer-assisted technologies, including 3-D photography and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing).

Same day crowns permits dental practitioners the versatility to restore teeth in a single sitting with a client, instead of the several visits required with other methods!

Same day crowns have been proven by hundreds of medical studies and is provided by countless dentists to millions of clients around the world each year!

Same day crowns not only saves you money and time, it can also conserve your teeth!

Dental X-rays are unable to penetrate metal crowns, making any degeneration undetectable till it was too late.

Same day crowns use a strong porcelain that x-rays can penetrate. This indicates any degeneration underneath the restoration can be found and treated before it becomes a big issue.

Because same day crown technology use a milling unit to mill the ceramic into your customized restoration, the porcelain is stronger than those created by hand. And, the computer-assisted innovation can produce an virtually identical restoration of the previous tooth.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Spotting issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to identify:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available quickly after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
