Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used in a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Is About:

Dentures (Dental)

There are different kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a decision is made regarding which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are positioned in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular functionality and appearance return and one just carries on as usual. Often implants can be used to further support the dentures.

It is necessary to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared with natural teeth. Dentures affect the type of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social scenarios, as well as your self-confidence.

Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the very same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will usually feel better than a lower full denture. In order to drastically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we often recommend utilizing dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants put in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly improve comfort. In some cases, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
