Single Visit Crowns

Crowns have long been an efficient restorative dentistry solution for dentists to take advantage of, but the standard crown procedure takes 2 to 3 appointments to finish.

At our practice, though, our dentists and our team can restore broken down teeth in just a single visit with same-day crowns. Same day crowns use sophisticated technology to make the crown planning procedure much easier, while the same day crown machine actually mills restorations itself using the information we've already gathered to develop the custom-made restoration you require.

The milling process takes about an hour to complete and can be done while you rest comfortably in our office.

Our restorative dentistry team is ready to revitalize your smile and better your quality of life. Using any of these restorative dentistry services alone or in combination with each other or another service, we are ready to assist you to attain optimal dental health. Please make an appointment to our office today.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide range of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Is:

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a metal device created to replace missing teeth. The device is typically made out of titanium and is surgically put into the jawbone where the tooth is missing. An implant is permanent, unlike a dental bridge.

Crowns and traditional bridges or dentures might not be your only options when replacing missing teeth. For some individuals, dental implants offer a smile that looks and feels extremely natural. Surgically placed below the gums over a series of appointments, implants connect to the jawbone and work as a base for bridges or a denture, individual replacement teeth.

Implants provide stability since they fuse to your bone, a procedure called osseointegration. Integration of these implants into your jaw also helps your replacement teeth feel more natural and some people also find the secure fit is more comfy than traditional replacements. Candidates for dental implants have to have healthy gums and adequate bone to support the implant.

What's Involved In Having A Dental Implant?

A dental implant might be an option to replace a missing tooth. In this procedure, a small titanium shaft is surgically {placed|implanted into the bone and allowed to set. The bone grows around it forming a tight connection, which additionally slows or stops the bone loss that takes place when the root of a natural tooth is missing. As soon as the implant is securely embeded in the mouth, the dental practitioner then works to connect the replacement tooth onto the top of the shaft. This permanent solution has the advantages over bridge work that it does not stress the surrounding teeth for support, and, should the tooth wear out, another can simply be replaced on the shaft.

Implants can also be used as support as part of an implant bridge. This is an alternative to partial dentures, and has multiple benefits. First, there is no adjustment period to acclimatize the client who, as soon as the work is done, only feels teeth, not metal supports intruding into the mouth. Second, this slows the bone loss occasioned by missing teeth. Third, there is no discomfort or problem in eating. And, best of all, of course, they do not need to be taken out all the time.
