Why Choose Same Day Dental Crowns?

There are lots of advantages of single visit crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, saving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a short-term crown, which eliminates significant potential discomfort and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No traditional impressions means no gagging.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this brand-new innovation restores your teeth to their natural durability, appeal, and function and carefully match the structure of natural tooth structure.

  • Durability: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay lovely for multiple years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Because they are constructed of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are much more aesthetic than mercury consisting of silver fillings and stronger because of bonding technology.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Porcelain Veneers (Teeth)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a beautiful and attractive smile.

Veneers can entirely improve your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the perfect option in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Similar to most dental restorations, veneers may at some point need replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last many years, offering you a long lasting, stunning smile.

How Are Veneers Applied?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (visible area) of the tooth. Veneers are typically only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct method generally involves placing composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is usually referred to as bonding.

The indirect technique normally involves two visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab fabricated veneers are generally made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are very esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is generally less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.

You will receive care guidelines for your veneers. Proper brushing, flossing and routine dental visits will aid in the life of your new and beautiful veneers.
