Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.
CEREC can be used for a full scope of indications: veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns and anterior crowns.

Tooth Veneers (Porcelain)
Veneers are a really thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to create a beautiful and attractive smile.
Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.
Just like many dental restorations, veneers might someday require replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last many years, providing you a long lasting, gorgeous smile.
How Are Veneers Placed?
Veneers are a dental treatment in which a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are generally only done to the part of the teeth that are visible when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.
The direct method usually involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This approach is generally referred to as bonding.
The indirect strategy generally involves two visits because the veneers will be made at a dental lab. At the very first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are given a short-term covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The laboratory fabricated veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.
The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the procedure is normally less unpleasant. Veneers are not recommended for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.
You will get care guidelines for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will aid in the life of your brand-new and beautiful veneers.
