Same day crowns are an sophisticated dental technology that is utilized for the restoration of decayed, split, or chipped teeth. This technology can produce full crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers. The same day crown machine crafts a restoration in a matter of minutes.

Same day crown restorations are made of compressed porcelain. It is for this reason that they are stronger than laboratory restorations, which are layered porcelain. The most beneficial feature of getting a same day crown restoration is that it is accomplished in one appointment. In addition to the benefit of a one visit restoration, there is no unpleasant impression material to bite on or a temporary crown to wear.

The treatment for positioning of a same day crown restoration is extremely easy. The primary step is to eliminate all decay from the tooth. The dentist will then shape the tooth in preparation to take a digital image. The tooth is then sprayed with a really fine powder. This enables the digital camera to take an acceptable image. As soon as this image is captured, the tooth will appear on a computer screen in 3D. This will allow the dental practitioner to create the restoration right in front of you.

When the design is completed, the same day crown device will mill the restoration. This step takes approximately 15 minutes. You can actually watch this procedure if you would like. When the restoration is completed milling, the dentist will place the restoration on your tooth.

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we use a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in specific situations where a tooth has been broken or ended up being stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this reasonably inexpensive methods rather than through a more expensive dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close gaps between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to obtain a shiny finish as a last step.
