Same Day Crowns Near You

We are your local dentist for single-visit tooth restorations. Why go to the dentist a 2nd time if you don't have to? One appointment, one shot and no impressions. Schedule a visit for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Single Visit Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring damaged teeth, and this restoration can be completed in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more lovely - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material and is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Throughout your visit, you and your dental practitioner will go over the details of the treatment and your dentist will answer any questions you may have concerning the treatment or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then use a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a picture of your tooth. Using the new proprietary software, your restoration will be developed according to your tooth's proper shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to create your restoration from a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Finding issues with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to discover:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the medical professional to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also allows us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
