We think you will be very interested to know that at our practice, you have the ability to get same day crowns! It is a comfortable one-day procedure!

Our entire dental practice is advanced, except for our patient care and concern which is standard. We know the pain missing teeth can cause patients, and therefore we are really pleased to be able to offer patients with same day crowns.

Dental crowns are used to reinforce a tooth, and return it to its initial function. Dental crowns are made to color-match the nearby teeth, so they can not be spotted by others as being anything less than a long-term tooth. With a dental crown, you are able to eat anything you like, and your clear speech will never be disrupted. In fact, your dental crown is so natural feeling, you will not even know it exists in your mouth.

Same day crowns are a very interesting offering of our practice. We have the ability to have you with a gorgeous brand-new smile in simply one day. Our office has advanced devices that allows dentists to offer you with crowns in simply a small portion of the time that was needed in the past.

CAD/CAM technology is what makes this amazing advancement possible. The acronym represents computer-aided design/computed-aided manufacturing. We are able to use this technology in our system. This system is used to fix teeth, start to finish, in one day. This will save you from an extra visit to our practice, a week or two later. We're sure you have a lot more amazing things you would rather do with your time than to sit in our dental practitioner's chair any longer than you need to!

Using our new system, we scan the readied tooth in your mouth or from an impression, and then send the information to our in-office milling station. The restoration is computer-milled to the precise specifications to fit your mouth in minutes. As soon as the crown is crated, we place it in your mouth, and color, polish and restore your new tooth to a beautiful and natural-looking appeal. This technology can also be used for same-day veneers or inlays.

If you require a crown in a hurry, for an upcoming social or company event, this procedure might undoubtedly be perfect for you. If you have an interest in learning more about this procedure, call us today for a visit.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the top aesthetic concern of most clients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth lightening system that will lighten teeth significantly. Because tooth whitening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the newly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use numerous techniques: customizeded tray bleaching, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole process takes about a week of day-to-day use. Three different strengths of gel might be utilized, however, the greater the strength, the higher the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray technique is advised for severely stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take multiple months of use to see considerable color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a very fast and hassle-free bleaching process. The appointment is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our clients like this treatment since it is so easy and fast!

Tooth bleaching is not permanent. A touch-up may be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays should be used every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
