Thanks to ingenious modern day innovations, we are proud to introduce the ability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a brand-new crown in simply one appointment! Here's how it works.

Step 1, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera built just for this purpose.

Step 2, the new software assesses the entire image and uses the results to determine a variety of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are assessed and fine-tuned by the doctor and the final restoration strategy is selected.

Lastly your new crown is milled by the cerec machine right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one visit!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to help you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

Today's Topic Has To Do With:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure in which we apply a tooth-colored composite product to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in certain situations where a tooth has been damaged or ended up being stained. These are usually small repairs, ones that can be resolved through this fairly inexpensive ways rather than through a more pricey dental procedure.

Here's How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to alter the positioning of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to get a glossy finish as a last step.
