Thanks to ingenious modern day technologies, we are proud to introduce the ability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in just one appointment! Here's how it works.

Step 1, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera created just for this purpose.

Then, the new software examines the entire image and uses the results to calculate a variety of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are analyzed and refined by the doctor and the last restoration strategy is selected.

Step three your brand-new crown is milled by the cerec machine right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you want to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of areas requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Will Be About:

Dentures (Dental)

There are various types of dentures, however they share their common function. They replace teeth that have actually become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is analyzed and a determination is made about which teeth will have to be removed, and which will remain. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth remain in the mouth, depending on the type. There is an adjustment time after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the normal performance and look return and one simply continues as usual. Frequently implants can be used to further stabilize the dentures.

It is necessary to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social scenarios, and even your self-esteem.

Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the same arch

  • Restore chewing capability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will often feel much better than a lower complete denture. In order to significantly enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we often recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be positioned in the jaw after a denture has been in use for multiple years.
