Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns meant coming into the dentist's office a minimum of two times. The very first check-up involved getting an impression of your tooth and a short-term crown. Then, a couple of weeks later, a second check-up enabled the short-term crown to be eliminated and a brand-new permanent crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest innovation to make dental work more convenient for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a state-of-the-art same day crown technology to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in just one check-up with a small camera to develop a 3D image of the tooth that has to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is unpleasant and time consuming, is no longer necessary.

Using CAD/CAM software, We create a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling machine. This innovation can produce the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is connected to your tooth using a bonding product, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so no one will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you may have been putting off.

The Discussion For Today Will Be:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is required when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover problems early). Often deep restorations or trauma to a tooth may also cause the nerve to be harmed to the point it requires root canal treatment. Once this takes place, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not recover by itself. It can even weaken the entire immune system. This is dangerous, and may be extremely painful. Symptoms that the pulp has actually ended up being infected might consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, discomfort, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no symptoms are apparent and the person is unaware of any issue up until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clean out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. Once the infection is resolved, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Typically a core build-up and crown is recommended for bring back a tooth that has actually had root canal therapy.
