Temporary crowns and second visits for crowns are now typically unnecessary thanks to the same day crown technology. We provide this amazing one-visit crown technology in our office, adding higher convenience to the process of getting a crown. The waiting time between your treatment and when you get your permanent crown is eliminated.

The same day crown technology is an instrument that allows ceramic restorations (veneers, inlays, onlays, and crowns) to be carried out in one visit instead of 2. The computer collaborates with a wireless digital camera allowing the dentist to make digital impressions without the discomfort of bulky impression material.

After taking the picture the computer takes over and mills your custom crown right away so that we can cement your brand-new crown that same day. The results we see are amazing. With the same day crowns, the fit, strength, and aesthetics of the ceramic restorations are excellent.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital imagery of locations needing restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to fabricate your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays, partial crowns and posterior crowns.

Today's Subject Will Be:

Composite Dental Bonding

Bonding is a procedure where we use a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be utilized in certain situations where a tooth has actually been broken or become stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively affordable methods instead of through a more pricey dental procedure.

How It Works:
Bonding involves adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to repair damage done to the tooth by decay, to change the alignment of the tooth, close spaces in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughened in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material adheres to the surface area. Then the material itself is positioned on the tooth and solidified with intense light. The composite resin material is formed and polished to get a shiny finish as a last step.
