Single Visit Crowns In Only One Visit

If you select same day crowns, your experience will be fairly different.
Instead of goopy impressions, our dentist will apply a thin layer of reflective powder to your tooth and will take photos of your tooth. Your new crown is then made right here at our office from a piece of ceramic. There is no metal in your crown.

While your crown is being made, you are free to wait and enjoy our dental spa. You may decide to have other dental work done throughout this time.

After your ceramic crown is made, it is bonded to your tooth using state of the art adhesive dentistry. Done and done!

You don't need multiple trips. Just one trip and you leave with your permanent crown! Now that should give you something to smile about!

If you have actually been considering a crown, speak with us about it today.

Same Day Crown Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a full range of indications: posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, onlays and partial crowns.

The Topic For Today Is:

Dental Dentures

There are different types of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is big enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. No one enjoys losing their natural teeth, but you can still eat and talk regularly.

The whole mouth is analyzed and a decision is made as to which teeth will need to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. Once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular functionality and appearance return and one simply carries on as usual. Commonly implants can be utilized to further support the dentures.

It is important to note that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when compared to natural teeth. Dentures affect the kind of food you have the ability to eat, your self-confidence in social situations, as well as your self-esteem.

Reasons For Considering A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the very same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other procedures

An upper complete denture will usually feel much better than a lower full denture. In order to drastically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we regularly suggest using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. 2 dental implants positioned in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and significantly enhance comfort. Often, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has actually been in use for multiple years.
