Set up an appointment for same day crowns in our office today. Our office is pleased to have the current technology for same day crowns.

We always stay on the cutting-edge for our valued patients!

What Are Same Day Crowns?

It is a technology for restoring broken teeth, and this restoration can be finished in a single visit to our office. It makes your teeth tougher and more lovely - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic material and works with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

During your visit, you and your dentist will talk about the details of the procedure and your dentist will address any concerns you may have concerning the procedure or porcelain crowns in general.

Your dental practitioner will then apply a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique 3D imaging camera to take a photo of your tooth. Using the brand-new exclusive software, your restoration will be designed according to your tooth's appropriate shape and function.

Then, it will use a diamond burs to develop your restoration out of a piece of ceramic. Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using advanced adhesive dentistry.

Same Day Tooth Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take accurate digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.

CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:

Temporal Mandibular Joint

TMJ stands for temporal-mandibular joint. Temporal, as in temple area of skull; mandibular as in mandible, or lower jaw; joint as in it's where the head and jaw meet. Problems in this joint might be triggered by a misalignment of the teeth, trauma, or excess muscle tension. Aside from the two bones that meet there, cartilage buffers them and 5 muscles are involved in the area. If something fails a good deal of trouble can result.

Problems in this area can trigger:

  • Earaches.

  • Headaches.

  • Pain in the jaw muscles.

  • Soreness in opening and closing the mouth.

  • Soreness in the area, often extending to the face.

  • Clicking or popping of the jaw.

Dental treatments for the condition can include replacing missing teeth, moving teeth, adjusting the bite, filling spaces in between teeth, and so on. There is no one solution that is right for all cases. In some cases a plastic mouth piece is used to prevent clenching or grinding that is adding to the issue. If unattended and taken to extremes, surgery may be needed to fix a severely damaged joint.
