Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to produce your crown.
CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers and inlays.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental issues.
Spotting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, expensive procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to identify:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Huge on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The instant observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a huge format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done right away. Digital format also allows us to send and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
