If you have a fractured or damaged tooth, are experiencing pain when chewing or exposed to hot or cold temperatures, or wish to get rid of unsightly metal crowns or fillings, then dental crowns might be a great option for you. Dental Crowns cover the outter surface of the affected tooth, adding durability and stability to it.

Same-day dental crowns are a choice that we provide on a case by case basis to clients who would gain from the treatment. They enable clients to come to our office and leave within a couple hours with their final dental crown in place that same day. This gets rid of the need to have a temporary crown placed then another visit scheduled for the positioning of the permanent crown.

Our Same-Day Crowns are made with our brand-new innovation that scans the mouth to obtain the proper measurements of your tooth and surrounding teeth, then makes your crown right there in the office. These restorations are really strong and long lasting and made out of the highest quality porcelain available. Sometimes, a gold crown might be suggested for your posterior teeth (back teeth) if you grind or clinch your teeth a lot.

Gold crowns are different from porcelain crowns, and the cost may differ between the two and you might wish to talk about your budget too with the your dentist. Your dental practitioner will discuss with you the types of crowns available and give you a recommendation based on your specific situation.

The Conversation Of The Day Will Be:

Teeth Veneers (Porcelain)

Veneers are a very thin pieces of long lasting, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental laboratory. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal option in treating lots of cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

Just like most dental restorations, veneers might at some point require replacement; however, they are still very durable and will last years, providing you a long lasting, lovely smile.

How Are Veneers Set?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is put over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are usually only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or smiling. The procedure can be direct or indirect.

The direct strategy generally involves putting composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This technique is normally referred to as bonding.

The indirect method generally involves 2 visits because the veneers will be produced at a dental lab. At the first appointment the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are offered a temporary covering. In two to three weeks the veneers are back from the lab, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab produced veneers are usually made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The advantage of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is removed, and the treatment is generally less unpleasant. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have big fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care instructions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your new and beautiful veneers.
