Why Choose Single Visit Crowns?

There are lots of benefits of one day crowns over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one visit, saving you significant time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no need for a short-term crown, which eliminates significant potential discomfort and inconvenience of a lost temporary restoration. Only one appointment means only one injection, or no injections if the tooth was previously treated with a root canal. No standard impressions resulting in no gagging.

  • Aesthetic appeals: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic materials of this new innovation restores your teeth to their natural durability, beauty, and function and carefully match the structure of natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is tougher than the standard method of layering and pressing, so your smile will remain beautiful for many years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and technology can also be used for fillings. Since they are constructed of porcelain, they are more long lasting than white composite fillings. They are a lot more aesthetic than mercury consisting of silver fillings and stronger because of bonding technology.

Today We Will Be Talking About:

Porcelain Teeth Veneers

Veneers are a very thin pieces of durable, tooth shaped, porcelain that are custom made (for shape and color) by a professional dental lab. They are bonded onto the front of teeth to produce a gorgeous and attractive smile.

Veneers can completely reshape your teeth and smile. They can often be alternatives to crowns and the ideal solution in treating many cosmetic dental conditions for the front teeth.

As with many dental restorations, veneers might at some point require replacement; however, they are still very long lasting and will last multiple years, providing you a long lasting, gorgeous smile.

How Are Veneers Placed?

Veneers are a dental procedure in which a covering is placed over the outside (noticeable area) of the tooth. Veneers are generally only done to the part of the teeth that are seen when talking or grinning. The treatment can be direct or indirect.

The direct method generally involves positioning composite resin on the outside of the tooth using bonding. This method is generally referred to as bonding.

The indirect strategy normally involves two visits because the veneers will be fabricated at a dental lab. At the very first visit the teeth are prepared, impressions taken, and the teeth are provided a short-term covering. In 2 to 3 weeks the veneers are back from the laboratory, the temporaries are removed and the veneers are bonded to the teeth. The lab made veneers are typically made using porcelain or pressed ceramic, and are really esthetic.

The benefit of veneers versus crowns is that much less tooth material is eliminated, and the treatment is usually less uncomfortable. Veneers are not advised for teeth that have large fillings or little tooth structure.

You will get care directions for your veneers. Appropriate brushing, flossing and regular dental visits will help in the life of your new and stunning veneers.
