Same day crowns are a dental restoration device that allows a dental practitioner to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using computer-assisted innovations, consisting of 3-D photography and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing).

Same day crowns enables dentists the versatility to fix teeth in a single sitting with a client, rather than the numerous visits required with other methods!

Same day crowns have been proven by hundreds of clinical research studies and is provided by countless dental practitioners to millions of patients around the world each year!

Same day crowns not just saves you time and money, it can also conserve your teeth!

Dental X-rays are unable to penetrate metal crowns, making any degeneration undetected until it was too late.

Same day crowns use a strong porcelain that x-rays can penetrate. This means any degeneration beneath the restoration can be discovered and fixed before it ends up being a big problem.

Since same day crown technology use a milling device to mill the ceramic into your custom-made restoration, the porcelain is stronger than those created by hand. And, the computer-assisted innovation can create an nearly similar restoration of the previous tooth.

Today Were Going Over:

Endodontic Treatment (Root Canal)

Root canal treatment (also referred to as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover problems early). Often deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also trigger the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal treatment. When this happens, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and start to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not heal on its own. It can even weaken the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and might be extremely unpleasant. Signs that the pulp has actually become infected may consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sweets, pain, swelling, pain to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Often, however, no symptoms are apparent and the individual is unaware of any issue till a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and sanitize the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to extract the tooth. As soon as the infection is dealt with, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any more infection. Usually a core build-up and crown is suggested for bring back a tooth that has had root canal therapy.
