Same Day Crowns Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take precise digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

The Topic Of The Day Will Be:
Digital X-Rays
X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Finding issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, costly procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.
Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The instant observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.
Digital radiography has greatly improved the practice of dentistry. It allows the client and the doctor to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
