Same day crowns are a dental restoration device that allows a dental practitioner to produce an indirect ceramic dental restoration using computer-assisted technologies, including 3-D photography and CAD/CAM (computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing).

Same day crowns enables dental practitioners the flexibility to restore teeth in a single sitting with a client, rather than the several appointments required with other techniques!

Same day crowns have been proven by numerous clinical studies and is provided by countless dental practitioners to millions of patients all over the world each year!

Same day crowns not only conserves you money and time, it can also conserve your teeth!

Dental X-rays are not able to penetrate metal crowns, making any decay undetected up until it was too late.

Same day crowns use a strong porcelain that x-rays can penetrate. This indicates any decay below the restoration can be discovered and fixed before it ends up being a major problem.

Due to the fact that same day crown technology use a milling unit to mill the ceramic into your customized restoration, the porcelain is more durable than those created by hand. And, the computer-assisted technology can produce an nearly identical restoration of the previous tooth.

Today's Discussion Will Be About:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is essential when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and discover problems early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal therapy. When this happens, the pulp becomes infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not heal by itself. It can even deteriorate the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and might be extremely agonizing. Symptoms that the pulp has actually become infected might consist of sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, discomfort to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no symptoms appear and the individual is unaware of any problem up until a checkup.

A root canal is then performed to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and disinfect the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. When the infection is fixed, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any additional infection. Generally a core build-up and crown is suggested for bring back a tooth that has actually had root canal treatment.
