Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve aesthetic needs, bring back tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have huge broken down fillings, a crown can secure and maintain the remaining natural tooth.

To boost your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also take place of an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is generally put over the remaining tooth structure to maintain aesthetic and tooth function.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the number one aesthetic concern of most patients, there are a number of methods to whiten teeth. The most popular method is utilizing a home tooth whitening system that will whiten teeth significantly. Because tooth whitening only works on natural tooth enamel, it is important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after lightening so they will match the recently bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize multiple methods: customizeded tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray approach involves having impressions taken, which the laboratory fabricates into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is put in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The whole procedure takes about a week of everyday use. 3 different strengths of gel may be utilized, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray method is advised for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it may take a number of months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and convenient whitening procedure. The visit is around one hour including both the preparation and treatment. Our clients love this treatment due to the fact that it is so easy and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be needed once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For upkeep of whitened teeth the trays ought to be used every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation throughout tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, and so on).
