Same day crowns
In the past, getting dental crowns suggested coming into the dental practitioner's office a minimum of 2 times. The first check-up included getting an impression of your tooth and a temporary crown. Then, a few weeks later, a second visit permitted the short-term crown to be removed and a new long-term crown to be positioned on your tooth. We use the latest technology making dental work more convenient for you and your day to day schedule, with same day crowns.

Getting Dental Crowns
We are proud to use a cutting edge same day crown innovation to create ceramic onlays and crowns that fit perfectly, in simply one visit with a small camera to create a 3D picture of the tooth that has to be repaired. This indicates a physical mold, which is undesirable and time consuming, is no longer needed.

Using CAD/CAM software, We develop a perfectly fitting restoration using an on-site milling device. This technology can develop the brand-new restoration in just 15 minutes.

The restoration is stuck to your tooth using a bonding material, and the brand-new addition will match your natural teeth so nobody will ever know you had a repair.

Call us today for additional information about same day crowns innovation, and take care of those issues you might have been putting off.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Root Canal

Root canal treatment (also described as root canal therapy or endodontic therapy) is required when a cavity is allowed, through neglect, to reach all the way to the root pulp. (Regular cleanings and checkups prevent and find issues early). Sometimes deep restorations or trauma to a tooth might also cause the nerve to be damaged to the point it needs root canal therapy. Once this happens, the pulp ends up being infected, and can even extend through the root tip and begin to eat away at the surrounding bone (this is an abscess).

By the time the pulp is infected it has to be treated, and can not recover on its own. It can even weaken the whole immune system. This is dangerous, and may be extremely unpleasant. Symptoms that the pulp has actually become infected might include sensitivity to hot/cold or sugary foods, discomfort, swelling, discomfort to biting or pressure, and a bad taste in the mouth. Sometimes, however, no symptoms appear and the individual is unaware of any problem till a checkup.

A root canal is then carried out to clear out the infected tooth pulp, and decontaminate the canals of the tooth. The only other treatment would be to remove the tooth. When the infection is resolved, the canal(s) are filled in to prevent any further infection. Normally a core build-up and crown is recommended for bring back a tooth that has had root canal therapy.
