Updated On Sunday, July 22, 2018 09:37:54 PM

Thanks to innovative modern innovations, we are proud to present the ability to offer you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in simply one appointment! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera developed just for this purpose.

Then, the new software assesses the entire image and uses the results to compute a variety of excellent restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are examined and improved by the doctor and the last restoration strategy is selected.

Lastly your brand-new crown is milled by the cerec device right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you wish to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be happy to help you.

Today's Subject Is:

Dental Dentures

There are different kinds of dentures, but they share their common function. They replace teeth that have become loose or been lost due to bone loss. When bone loss around the roots of teeth is great enough to let them fall out or loosen them, it's time for dentures. Relax. Nobody enjoys losing their natural teeth, however you can still eat and talk regularly.

The entire mouth is examined and a decision is made about which teeth will need to be removed, and which will stay. The loose teeth are then removed. Dentures are fitted to go around or over whatever teeth stay in the mouth, depending upon the type. There is an adjustment period after dentures are placed in the mouth, and it can take some getting used to. But once accustomed to the dentures, all the regular performance and look return and one just carries on as usual. Typically implants can be utilized to further stabilize the dentures.

It is very important to keep in mind that life with an upper denture, a lower denture, and especially both, is a major lifestyle change when as compared to natural teeth. Dentures impact the kind of food you are able to eat, your self-esteem in social scenarios, and even your self-esteem.

A Few Reasons For Getting A Full Denture:

  • All Teeth missing in the very same arch

  • Restore chewing ability

  • Restore a natural looking smile

  • Economical alternative to other treatments

An upper complete denture will almost always feel better than a lower complete denture. In order to dramatically enhance the fit of a lower complete denture, we frequently recommend using dental implants as a retentive mechanism. Two dental implants placed in the lower jaw can help anchor the denture and substantially improve comfort. Sometimes, the implants can even be put in the jaw after a denture has been in use for multiple years.
