Can Same Day Crowns Benefit Me?

With this new technology it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can fabricate natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make numerous trips to the dentist's office to be measured and fitted with short-term restorations - you can take pleasure in a brilliant, natural looking, and long lasting solution for your missing or broken teeth today.

First, your dental practitioner will consult with you to talk about the information of the procedure. Throughout the treatment, the dental practitioner will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a special camera to take a photo of your tooth.

Using the brand-new software, the photo acts as a map to design your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to create your restoration piece from ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth tougher and more beautiful - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the high-grade ceramic material is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Today's Discussion Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Finding problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly utilized to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is removed.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen enables us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for much easier detection of issues, all while reducing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
