Same Day Crown Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of areas requiring restoration and produce the appropriate restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer have to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to produce your crown.
CEREC can be utilized for a wide scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Detecting problems with x-rays before they end up being problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly utilized to find:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make client communication more effective. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and precisely.
Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the patient and the physician to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the patient. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, eliminating the wait and effort spent developing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and get your images digitally for consultation that can be presented to you quickly.
