Can Same Day Crowns Help Me?

With this brand-new technology it enables dentists to custom-craft restorations in just one hour. With this, we can produce natural looking crowns, onlays, inlays, and veneers right here in our office while you unwind. Now, there is no longer a need to make multiple appointments to the dental practitioner's office to be measured and fitted with short-term restorations - you can enjoy a brilliant, natural looking, and long lasting option for your missing or broken teeth today.

Initially, your dental practitioner will meet with you to go over the information of the procedure. During the procedure, the dentist will put a thin layer of reflective powder onto your tooth and will use a unique camera to take a photo of your tooth.

Using the new software, the picture works as a map to develop your tooth's restoration. Then, it will use a diamond bur and disk-work to produce your restoration piece out of ceramic.

Finally, the ceramic restoration is bonded to your tooth using state-of-the-art adhesive dentistry.

It makes your teeth tougher and more gorgeous - all while keeping your teeth looking natural. The restoration is metal-free and the top-quality ceramic product is compatible with the natural tissue found in your mouth.

Dental Bonding (Composite)

Bonding is a procedure where we apply a tooth-colored composite material to a tooth, shape it, allow it to solidify, and polish it. It can be used in specific circumstances where a tooth has actually been damaged or ended up being stained. These are usually minor repairs, ones that can be resolved through this relatively inexpensive means instead of through a more costly dental treatment.

How It Works:
Bonding includes adhering composite resin material that is matched to the color of the tooth, to the front of the tooth. This is done to fix damage done to the tooth by decay, to modify the alignment of the tooth, close gaps in between the teeth, or for cosmetic purposes. First the surface area of the tooth is roughed up in order to accept the bonding and hold it. A gel is applied to micro etch the tooth surface area, and a primer/bond agent is used so the material sticks to the surface area. Then the material itself is put on the tooth and hardened with intense light. The composite resin material is shaped and polished to obtain a lustrous finish as a last step.
