Obtain A Perfect Smile With Same Day Crowns

Same Day Crowns resolve aesthetic requirements, bring back tooth function, and enhance the overall health of your mouth. In cases where teeth have big broken down fillings, a crown can protect and maintain the rest of the natural tooth.

To enhance your smile, a metal-free, tooth-colored same day crown can also replace an older metal or porcelain crown. Following root canal treatment, a crown is typically positioned over the remaining tooth structure to protect aesthetic and tooth function.

The Topic For Today Will Be:

Tooth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of many clients, there are multiple methods to bleach teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth lightening system that will bleach teeth considerably. Since tooth lightening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is essential to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, and so on. Replacement of any restorations will be done after bleaching so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists utilize a number of methods: customizeded tray whitening, professional strength white strips, and in-office bleaching.

The tray method involves having impressions taken, which the lab makes into custom-made vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire process takes about a week of daily use. Three various strengths of gel may be used, however, the higher the strength, the higher the likelihood of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is advised for badly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take a number of months of use to see significant color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a really fast and practical lightening procedure. The visit is around one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients love this treatment since it is so easy and quick!

Tooth whitening is not permanent. A touch-up may be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays must be utilized every few months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of outer tooth layer.

  • Florousis (extreme fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
