Thanks to ingenious modern technologies, we are proud to present the ability to provide you with same day crowns - that's right, a new crown in just one visit! Here's how it works.

Step One, high resolution digital 3-D impressions are taken with a small camera, a special camera built just for this function.

Then, the brand-new software examines the whole image and uses the results to calculate a number of exceptional restoration possibilities. Next those possibilities are examined and refined by the dentist and the last restoration plan is chosen.

Finally your brand-new crown is made by the cerec machine right in our office and put in your mouth, all in one appointment!

If you would like to know more about the same day crown treatment, call our office and we would be more than happy to assist you.

Same Day Teeth Restorations

CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations requiring restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will develop and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a wide scope of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

Today's Conversation Is About:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Discovering issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, expensive treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to detect:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have multiple advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Large on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and accurately.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the medical professional to see pictures of the teeth in greater resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while reducing the radiation exposure to the client. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, resulting in clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, removing the wait and effort spent developing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send out and receive your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you quickly.
