Why Select Same Day Crowns?

There are numerous advantages of using same day crown over standard crown technology.

  • Time: Same day crowns are made in one appointment, conserving you substantial time away from your job and family.

  • Comfort: With same day crowns, there is no requirement for a temporary crown, eliminating substantial potential discomfort.

  • Looks: The strong, tooth-colored ceramic products of same day crowns restore your teeth to their natural strength, charm, and function, and closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure.

  • Strength: Milled ceramic is stronger than the traditional technique of layering and pressing, so your smile will stay gorgeous for years!

  • Fillings: Same day crown material and innovation can also be used for fillings. Since these fillings are constructed of porcelain, they are more durable than white composite fillings.

The Conversation Of The Day Is:

Digital X-Rays

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.

Spotting problems with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the requirement for more extensive, pricey treatments or surgeries. X-rays are mostly used to spot:

  • Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).

  • Impacted teeth.

  • Teeth that are still coming in.

  • Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.

  • Internal tooth decay.

Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have a number of advantages over traditional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays enable us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from conventional dental x-rays. The concern of direct exposure to excess radiation is eliminated.

Huge on-screen X-rays make client communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.

Digital radiography has greatly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It enables the client and the physician to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a large format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation direct exposure to the client. The process we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.

Images are available immediately after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and installing x-rays. If an image needs to be retaken, it can be done immediately. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be provided to you rapidly.
