Crowns In One Day - No More Temporaries!

Is Your Day To Day Schedule Too Busy For 2 Dental Visits?

Now we can rapidly fix broken teeth in simply one visit to restore broken teeth with natural-looking ceramic crowns. In comparison to common dentistry, which takes 2 complete appointments in order to make a dental crown.

  • Less time in the dental practitioner's chair!

  • No more unpleasant impressions

  • No waiting weeks for your permanent crown

  • No need to wear a short-term crown

  • Digitally matches the color of your tooth

Exactly What Is A Dental Crown?

A crown is a cap made to cover a tooth with the purpose of restoring it to its natural size and shape or to improve its appearance. To get ready for the crown, dental practitioners drill to eliminate the decayed area and also form the tooth to prepare for the crown for that part which lies around and above the gum line.

Same Day Crowns Restorations

CEREC means CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital imagery of locations requiring restoration and produce the proper restoration on the spot.

With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration completed in just one visit. We will design and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the laboratory to make your crown.

CEREC can be used for a broad scope of indications: partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns, veneers, inlays, and onlays.

Today's Topic Is:

Teeth Whitening

Because having whiter teeth has now become the primary aesthetic concern of the majority of patients, there are multiple methods to whiten teeth. The most popular technique is using a home tooth bleaching system that will lighten teeth considerably. Because tooth whitening just works on natural tooth enamel, it is very important to evaluate replacement of any old fillings, crowns, etc. Replacement of any restorations will be done after whitening so they will match the freshly bleached teeth.

Most dentists use a number of methods: custom made tray lightening, professional strength white strips, and in-office lightening.

The tray technique involves having impressions taken, which the lab produces into custom vinyl trays. A carbamide peroxide gel is placed in these trays and the trays with gel are worn for about 30 minutes to a full hour. The entire procedure takes about a week of day-to-day use. 3 different strengths of gel might be used, however, the higher the strength, the greater the possibility of reactions or tooth sensitivity. The tray approach is suggested for terribly stained teeth, such as tetracycline staining, and it might take a number of months of use to see substantial color improvement.

Our in-office treatment is a extremely fast and practical whitening process. The visit is roughly one hour consisting of both the preparation and treatment. Our patients like this treatment because it is so simple and fast!

Tooth lightening is not permanent. A touch-up might be required once a year and more often if you smoke and/or drink coffee, tea, or wine. For maintenance of whitened teeth the trays should be utilized every couple of months.

Reasons For Tooth Whitening:

  • Yellow, brown stained teeth.

  • Normal wear of external tooth layer.

  • Florousis (excessive fluoridation during tooth development).

  • Stained teeth due to medications (tetracycline, etc.).
