Same Day Teeth Restorations
CEREC stands for CERamic REConstruction and is a tool in our office that can take exact digital images of locations needing restoration and produce the suitable restoration on the spot.
With our CEREC cad/cam machine, you can have your crown or other restoration finished in simply one visit. We will create and custom fit your tooth precisely with our computer system milling unit right in the office. You no longer need to have a temporary crown or wait weeks for the lab to make your crown.
CEREC can be used in a wide range of indications: inlays, onlays, partial crowns, posterior crowns, anterior crowns and veneers.

X-rays are a primary tool for early identification of dental problems.
Finding issues with x-rays before they become problems can save you money in the long run by preventing the need for more extensive, pricey procedures or surgeries. X-rays are mainly used to spot:
- Cysts (fluid filled sacks at the base of your teeth).
- Impacted teeth.
- Teeth that are still coming in.
- Tumors, both cancerous and non-cancerous.
- Internal tooth decay.
Most dentists use digital x-rays, which have numerous advantages over conventional film based x-rays. Digital x-rays allow us to take x-rays with 1/5 of the radiation that you would receive from traditional dental x-rays. The worry of exposure to excess radiation is removed.
Big on-screen X-rays make patient communication more efficient. The immediate observation of the images on the screen allows us to discuss your dental health quickly and properly.
Digital radiography has significantly enhanced the practice of dentistry. It allows the patient and the doctor to see images of the teeth in higher resolution on a big format for easier detection of problems, all while decreasing the radiation exposure to the patient. The procedure we use further defines the radiograph, leading to clinically meaningful images that are sharp, detailed and rich in contrast.
Images are available instantly after exposure, getting rid of the wait and effort spent establishing and mounting x-rays. If an image has to be retaken, it can be done instantly. Digital format also enables us to send and get your images electronically for consultation that can be presented to you rapidly.
